Linewright Beta Terms
Last updated: 2026-06-14
These Beta Terms apply to your use of the Linewright TestFlight beta.
By installing or using the beta, you agree to these terms.
1. Beta status
Linewright is pre-release software. It may contain bugs, incomplete features, disabled features, inaccurate output, interrupted services, or changing workflows.
The beta may change, reset, expire, or stop being available.
2. Who may use the beta
The beta is intended for adult tattoo professionals, apprentices, and selected testers.
You must not use the beta if you are not allowed to use TestFlight, Apple ID, Google sign-in, or the relevant app services in your location.
3. Local and AI routes
Linewright has two main routes:
- Local route - on-device stencil workflow that can run without internet.
- AI route - optional signed-in cloud help for selected reference material, including AI Reference Analysis and AI Quick Stencil when enabled.
The local route remains available when AI is unavailable, offline, disabled, or out of credits.
4. AI rules
Linewright AI is optional and artist-initiated.
You must not use AI with:
- body photos;
- private client photos;
- confidential client designs;
- client identity or private client information;
- material you do not own or have permission to process;
- illegal, abusive, or harmful material;
- material that a third-party AI provider is not permitted to process.
You are responsible for checking that you have the right to use any image you import or process through AI.
AI output is a draft candidate only. You are responsible for checking, editing, sizing, and approving any stencil before using it.
5. No exact-output guarantee
Linewright may help prepare stencil output, but it does not guarantee:
- perfect source reproduction;
- perfect AI fidelity;
- perfect line quality;
- perfect physical print size from every printer;
- suitability for every tattoo style, body area, or client;
- exact on-skin outcome;
- client-specific body matching.
You must use professional judgement before relying on any output.
6. Printing and tattoo-use responsibility
Before using a Linewright export in real studio work, check:
- final size;
- measurement units;
- paper size;
- scale settings;
- mirror state;
- tiling layout;
- registration marks;
- printer driver settings;
- visible stencil marks;
- whether the stencil is appropriate for the client and placement.
Linewright is a preparation tool. It is not a substitute for professional tattoo judgement.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the references, images, notes, artwork, stencils, and other material you import or create.
You give Linewright permission to process your content only as needed to provide the app features you choose, including local processing, support you request, AI Reference Analysis when you explicitly use it, and AI Quick Stencil when you explicitly use it.
When you use AI Quick Stencil, you permit Linewright to send the selected provider input through its backend to an enabled AI provider for the purpose of generating an AI Draft.
8. Feedback
You may send feedback, bug reports, screenshots, notes, and suggestions through TestFlight or support.
You allow Linewright to use that feedback to improve, test, debug, document, and develop the product without owing you payment.
Do not include body photos, private client material, confidential client designs, or sensitive studio information in feedback unless Linewright specifically asks for a redacted example.
9. Accounts and deletion
Some beta features require sign-in.
Local workspace use does not require a cloud account. AI and account deletion require signed-in cloud identity.
Signed-in users can delete their account in the app:
Workspace account chip -> Settings -> Delete account
Deleting your cloud account does not delete local files already stored on your iPad.
10. Availability and credits
AI Quick Stencil may be limited by credits, beta access, provider availability, backend flags, usage caps, or safety checks.
Linewright may change beta credit amounts, caps, provider routes, refund behavior, or access rules during testing.
11. Confidentiality
Unless Linewright gives permission or the beta is made public, do not publicly share unreleased screenshots, private beta links, internal notes, or non-public product details.
You may discuss your own feedback with Linewright support.
12. Third-party services
The beta may use third-party services including Apple TestFlight, Supabase, Apple sign-in, Google sign-in, email/support tooling, and enabled AI image providers.
Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
13. No warranty
The beta is provided “as is” and “as available”.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Linewright gives no warranty that the beta will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for a particular job or studio workflow.
14. Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Linewright will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from beta use.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
15. Suspension or removal
Linewright may remove beta access if you misuse the app, breach these terms, abuse AI features, share private beta access improperly, or create legal, security, privacy, or operational risk.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless consumer law in your location requires otherwise.
